School of Solem is intended to be an ongoing development and inspiration, and based on a holistic philosophy and where educational values are created and developed with the students.
It takes its inspiration from such Holma College for Holistic Studies (Sweden 1966-2001), The Ringing Cedars Series mm.
The retreat site will be owned by private individuals / companies who wish to pursue courses / retreats for max.20 participants.
The paradigm shift we are in the middle of calls for new context where we use new models and experiments to create local sustainable communities. It’s about sustainability at all levels: spiritual, social, organizational, ecology, energy, construction, farming, food and health, etc..
The model of interaction between school and retreat location / course center creates added value. Eg: having a common guest speaker.
