The property is a newly created estate situated in a uniquely beautiful and peaceful place in Norway with a fantastic 140 km view out over the Trondheim fjord. The contrast between the glittering fjord and the snow capped mountains on all sides is an unforgettable experience that lands deep in the heart and hit the soul.
Solemstunet has been built within an ecological framework over 10 years beginning in 1997 and today consists of a 300 m² main house as well as 2 log houses and 2 service buildings. There is the possibility to build a further 12 houses, , all with the same fantastic view. The main house is at present suitable for retreats/courses/seminars with up to 20 participants.

Solemstunet lies within the beautiful nature of Nord Tröndelag 1,5 hour north of Trondheim, 1 hour from the airport and 5 km from the nearest train station, and has many factors that make the place very suitable for retreats:

Nature is rich in berries (cloudberries, raspberries, blueberries, cranberries) and mushrooms.
In the summertime the Trondheims fjord offers great swimming and beautiful nature. It is about 1 hour to the island of Tautra in the fjord, with monastery ruins from the 12th century as well as a newly built working monastery.
The possibility to go out into the wilderness with an experienced guide specialising in mountains and mountain fauna.

The possibility to build your own log cabin with wood from the surrounding forest and to be with the process from log to finished cabin.
